- 6 cups sweetened cranberry juice cocktail
- 1 cup fresh orange juice, strained
- 3 cups ginger ale, chilled
- 1/4 cup simple syrup (optional, for sweetness adjustment)
- 1 large orange, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Ensure all liquid ingredients (cranberry juice, orange juice, and ginger ale) are thoroughly chilled prior to mixing.
- In a large punch bowl or pitcher, gently combine the chilled cranberry juice cocktail and fresh orange juice. Stir gently.
- If using 100% pure cranberry juice instead of cocktail, or if a sweeter profile is desired, stir in the simple syrup now. Taste and adjust.
- Just before serving, slowly pour in the cold ginger ale (or other carbonated mixer) to maintain maximum effervescence. Do not stir vigorously.
- Garnish the punch bowl with fresh orange slices and serve immediately over ice.
