Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sriracha or chili crisp
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, finely grated

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillet bone-dry with paper towels to ensure maximum crispiness. Use a sharp chef's knife to cut the salmon into uniform 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, gently toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated. Do not add the honey-soy glaze at this stage.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the seasoned salmon bites in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching to allow for proper air circulation.
  4. Air fry at 400°F for 5-6 minutes. While the salmon cooks, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and grated ginger in a small bowl.
  5. Open the air fryer and brush or toss the salmon bites with the honey-soy glaze. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the glaze is bubbly and mahogany in color.
