Ingredients:
- 24 count Sweet Hawaiian Rolls (2 packs of 12)
- 1 lb Thinly sliced deli ham (Black Forest or Honey Ham)
- 12 slices Swiss Cheese (340g), cut into quarters
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Poppy seeds
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/4 tsp Smoked paprika
Instructions:
- Without pulling the rolls apart, use a long serrated knife to slice the entire slab of rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Fold the ham slices and layer them evenly over the bottom buns. Note: Folding the ham creates air pockets that hold heat better than flat layers.
- Place the quartered Swiss cheese slices over the ham, ensuring every roll is covered.
- Place the top slab of buns over the cheese layer.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Using a pastry brush, paint the glaze generously over the tops of the buns and sides.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake 10 minutes until the butter has soaked into the tops.
- Cover the dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
- Remove the foil and bake for a final 2-3 minutes until the tops are golden and crackling.
- Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
