Ingredients:
- 4 ripe peaches, sliced into thick wedges (approx. 1.5 lbs / 680g)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until evenly combined.
- Melt the butter over medium-high heat in a large non-stick skillet until it begins to foam.
- Place peach wedges in the pan in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes without moving them until the edges are golden and slightly softened.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly over the peaches and stir gently to coat each slice.
- Continue to cook for another 2 minutes, basting the peaches with the bubbling syrup until the sauce thickens and the peaches are glistening.
- Stir in the lemon juice at the very end and remove from heat.
