Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp black pepper, coarsely ground
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 lbs chicken breast
Instructions:
- Combine the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Whisk the mixture vigorously for 60 seconds until the marinade is opaque and cohesive. Stir in the minced garlic, black pepper, dried oregano, and paprika.
- Place the chicken breast in a large Ziploc freezer bag, pour the marinade over the meat, seal the bag, and massage the liquid into the fibers to remove air pockets.
- Refrigerate to marinate for 30 minutes (for chicken) or up to 6 hours (for steak).
- Remove meat from the marinade and pat the surface slightly with a paper towel to encourage a proper crust.
- Grill over medium-high heat until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) for chicken or 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare steak.
