Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, center-cut and skin-on
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup (Grade A Dark/Amber)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Remove the salmon from the refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking to take the chill off. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the sugars in the glaze from sticking to the pan.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, smoked paprika, and apple cider vinegar. For an even thicker consistency, simmer this mixture in a small saucepan for 3 minutes until it reduces.
