Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (45g) Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 2/3 cup (160ml) Oat Milk
- 1 tbsp (12g) Chia Seeds
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp (1g) Ground Cinnamon
- Pinch (0.5g) Salt
- 1/2 cup (75g) Mixed Berries
- 1 tsp (5ml) Lemon juice (optional)
- 1/4 cup (60g) Greek Yogurt (optional)
- 1 scoop (30g) Vanilla Protein Powder (optional)
Instructions:
- Combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt in a 16 oz mason jar.
- Pour in the oat milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Using a fork or whisk, stir vigorously for 30 seconds to ensure the chia seeds are fully suspended and not clumped.
- Seal the lid tightly and shake the jar for 10 seconds.
- Let the mixture sit on the counter for 10 minutes to allow chia seeds to begin absorbing liquid.
- Gently fold in half of the mixed berries, then top the mixture with the remaining berries, pressing them slightly into the surface.
- Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
