Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 0.25 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, melted butter, and 1 cup of peanut butter. Mix until the dough is uniform and holds together when pressed.
- Press the peanut butter mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan using the back of a spoon until the surface is completely level.
- Place the chocolate chips and 0.25 cup of peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter base and spread it evenly to the edges using an offset spatula.
- Transfer the pan to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate layer is firm and the base has set.
- Lift the bars out using the parchment paper handles and slice into 12 equal squares using a warm knife for clean edges.
