Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions:

  1. Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, melted butter, and 1 cup of peanut butter. Mix until the dough is uniform and holds together when pressed.
  3. Press the peanut butter mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan using the back of a spoon until the surface is completely level.
  4. Place the chocolate chips and 0.25 cup of peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter base and spread it evenly to the edges using an offset spatula.
  6. Transfer the pan to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate layer is firm and the base has set.
  7. Lift the bars out using the parchment paper handles and slice into 12 equal squares using a warm knife for clean edges.
