Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk, chilled
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Pour the cold heavy cream and salt into a chilled mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer on medium-high speed, beat the cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, stir together the chilled sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
  3. Gently pour the condensed milk mixture over the whipped cream. Use a rubber spatula to fold the mixture together using a cut-and-fold motion until just combined, being careful not to deflate the air.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan or airtight container and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Press a piece of parchment paper directly onto the surface of the cream to prevent ice crystals from forming.
  6. Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
