Ingredients:

  • 6 large waffle cones
  • 2 cups (100g) mini marshmallows
  • 1.5 cups (250g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup (75g) sliced strawberries
  • 0.25 cup (30g) crushed pretzels
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes

Instructions:

  1. Before adding your bulk fillings, use a small spoon or spatula to coat the inner walls of the waffle cone with peanut butter. Focus especially on the bottom point to seal the hole and prevent leaks.
  2. Layer your ingredients in thirds. Start with a small handful of chocolate chips at the base, followed by marshmallows, then fruit or pretzels.
  3. Repeat layering until the cone is packed tightly and slightly mounded at the top.
  4. Wrap each cone tightly in heavy-duty aluminum foil, creating a chimney fold at the top to allow for steam circulation.
  5. Place the foil-wrapped cones on a grill over medium heat, near campfire coals (not directly on flames), or on a baking sheet in a 175°C oven for 7 minutes until the contents are molten.
