Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (75g) fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp (5ml) agave nectar
- 6 oz (180ml) ginger beer
- 1/2 cup (100g) crushed ice
- 3 fresh mint leaves
- 1 fresh strawberry for garnish
- 1 mint sprig for garnish
Instructions:
- Place the halved strawberries, lime juice, and 3 fresh mint leaves in the bottom of a copper mug.
- Use a muddler to press the berries and mint firmly against the side of the glass until they are pulverized into a thick pulp.
- Stir in the agave nectar to the berry mixture.
- Fill the mug to the brim with crushed ice.
- Slowly pour the chilled ginger beer over the ice and give it one gentle stir from the bottom to integrate flavors.
- Garnish with a fresh strawberry and a mint sprig.
